i was raised by a professional musician, and a teacher who could have easily been a world-famous artist, thus i’ve been an avid creative hobbyist for years— whether that be photography, writing, collecting rocks and shells, playing the piano, making art collages, traveling, curating playlists, you name it! throughout different seasons of my life, falling in and out of different hobbies and hyperfixations, one theme has remained the same: i wanted to tell stories through any creative outlet i could prove to be semi-decent at.
when i was nine years old, my mother bought me a small kodak camera, and i spent the next few years documenting life through my eyes, though my main subject was my little brother. from his steps to his first day of school, i quickly became obsessed with documenting THOSE moments in life that seem to slip away so fast.
though writing has always been my main creative outlet, i had the amazing opportunity to document my best friends’ wedding proposal and wedding in 2016. for you photography nerds out there, i shot it on a canon rebel t3i with a kit lens, all in jpeg, and edited on my ipad on the vsco app. they say you have to start somewhere…
when that good ol' stimulus check hit, i bought my first proper camera, my trusty canon 5d mark iii. i photographed anyone and everyone i could that year and officially launched my business in november 2021. like a damn fool in love, i quit my day job to pursue photography full time in january 2022 and i’ve never looked back!
i love what i do and i wake up everyday pinching myself that i get to capture LOVE for a living. my favorite thing is getting to connect with my couples on a deeper level (enneagram 4 here!). my desire in telling your story through moments frozen in photographs is that the art we create together feels authentic to who you are as a couple. as someone who isn’t super comfortable in front of a camera, it’s important to me that you are comfortable and at ease, and i always strive to create fun, candid, happy, silly, goofy, tender, sweet, and emotional moments throughout our time together.
that's just a little bit about me :) now i wanna know about you!

Madeline was absolutely amazing to work with and we felt so lucky to find her! She was very responsive and so welcoming to all my ideas, and the family list that kept growing. During the photo shoot she welcomed my whole family (four dogs and all!) and made us feel right at ease. She made the photo shoot so much fun for my two young boys and captured all the special moments and smiles. She had such great ideas and got through our large bunch of 10+ family members of every generation! It was truly incredible to see her at work and get through the list I had prepared. It really meant a lot to be able to talk to her before, and during the photo shoot with any questions or ideas. I highly recommend her for any photography shoot you need! The photos are high quality, amazing angles, creative and capture the love between everyone. Thanks again Madeline for such a special day and capturing the love of my family!

Madeline was very informative, as we are new(er) to the area, and we let her pick the location. Days before our shoot, she found a location that she felt would provide a better landscape for our photos, and was in communication the entire time. She made us at ease. Neither one of us likes to be in front of the camera, and we have a 9 month old, who can get fussy. Madeline was able to make our daughter laugh, and capture the best photos of her. The photos are remarkable! There was a quick turn around time of about a week. In that time frame, we were given preview photos, which got us even more excited to see the final album. Madeline was professional, and welcoming. She was able to capture the love and happiness of our family. This was our first time having a professional take our photos, and we will be using Madeline again for future shoots. Also, she is great with infants!
